Working with Matt has been incredible; his clarity in thought and reasoning reflect in the way he has directed and managed a rapidly growing UX and digital marketing team, both in numbers and the impact we have had on the organization's growth. I have had the pleasure of working with Matt Parry at Google while he was in our Southern California office. During the time he worked for me, I was consistently impressed with his ability to create new tools, ways to be consultative to our clients and think outside of the box to execute his job with the highest level of quality.

Matt was the first hire for our newly formed Google Analytics F1000 Team, and absolutely one of the best in all of our 10 years evolving from Urchin, to Urchin from Google, to Google Analytics. His grasp on usability is one of his greatest assets and comes from years on the front-lines working with advertisers to maximize their returns on online advertising. He was one of the quickest learners we have ever had, becoming an analytics expert in a fraction of the typical time, and when he combined that with his advertising experience, moved into a go-to position for working on accounts with our biggest advertisers, addressing our most challenging measurement questions, defining new measurement techniques and trainings, and evolving into a key product development adviser.

One of his greatest strengths is how he communicates with his team members - his style of teaching helped me and many people in our office learn more about running efficient AdWords campaigns for our clients. He is fantastic managing clients, their campaigns, and analyzing their data in meaningful and impactful ways. He was a leader on our team, and created systems and products that our team still uses today (it has been a few years since Matt transitioned teams).
